Card of the Day: Character – Kissfit!!

We’re going to be doing a daily calendar for the last 4 weeks of the Pixel Lincoln: The Deckbuilding Game Kickstarter campaign, showing off an Item every Monday, an Enemy every Tuesday, a Character every Wednesday, a secret every Thursday, and a Boss every Friday. We’ll give full details about the card and how it is used in the game. Make sure you come back each day!

Today, we see the first character! (Yesterday I lied and said it would be a secret item). The Pixel Lincoln universe is inhabited by all kinds of crazy characters. They will taunt you with irresistible missions (well, the missions are resistible, but the rewards are totally awesome). You can even become one of the characters in the game at the $75 pledge level and higher. Join our universe!! Here is Kissfit (haha). He is a roadie, who dropped out of school to work with the bands that he loves. Sometimes he gets ahead of himself and ends up getting hurt. He can’t help it, he loves metal and when the music starts, he loses all control. He should probably think about getting a new job. The way this card works is: You can buy it for the 4 coins at the bottom. It goes into your Score Pile, and if you collect cards with the three icons shown by the end of the game, you’ll get 10 points! 10 points is a huge deal too, so don’t pass up Kissfit. Just like he won’t pass up a metal show.

Check back tomorrow for our first Secret Item (for real this time. I swear).

If you like old-school video games, and you’re looking for an all new style of deckbuilding games, please support Pixel Lincoln on Kickstarter! We have some great stretch rewards and custom character cards for our backers. Thanks everyone! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/springboard/pixel-lincoln-the-deckbuilding-game-0
