Card of the Day: Secret Item – Jump, Double Jump and the almighty Triple Jump

We’re going to be doing a daily calendar for the last 4 weeks of the Pixel Lincoln: The Deckbuilding Game Kickstarter campaign, showing off an Item every Monday, an Enemy every Tuesday, a Character every Wednesday, a secret every Thursday, and a Boss every Friday. We’ll give full details about the card and how it is used in the game. Make sure you come back each day!

Today we are showing off three cards. Triple the fun… Let’s jump right into it!

It’s the Triple Jump! But before you learn how to triple jump, we’ll teach you how to Jump and Double Jump.

All players start with 5 Jump cards. You simply equip them to bypass enemies/items that you don’t want to defeat/purchase. These are key to your movement.

But if you’re lucky, the level will have some Double Jumps that you can purchase. By pass two items/enemies in a row, or a combination of each. These are super powerful, and you can really cruise through the levels.

And if you’re going for a speed run, you will equip today’s secret item. The Triple Jump. And because it’s a secret item, it’s just one of a kind and FREE.

You can’t beat that. But you might be able to jump it!

Tomorrow is another boss. Are you feeling heavy metal or partial-crustacean?

If you like old-school video games, and you’re looking for an all new style of deckbuilding games, please support Pixel Lincoln on Kickstarter! We have some great stretch rewards and custom character cards for our backers. Thanks everyone! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/springboard/pixel-lincoln-the-deckbuilding-game-0
