A belated thanks, and pre-order info

It’s been a few weeks since the project ended on Kickstarter and we’ve been working hard on getting everything ready for production. Working on lots of custom cards (which will soon be showing off here) and lots of other fun stuff.

In the meantime, I just wanted to thank everybody for helping make this game a success. I owe at least 814 of of you a big one. It will come in the form of an awesome game, but the gratitude goes well beyond that. Thanks again for everything.

And if you missed out on the Kickstarter campaign, Pixel Lincoln: The Deckbuilding Game and the Bonuses Pack are both available for pre-order at Game Salute. http://shop.gamesalute.com/search?q=Pixel+Lincoln

8 hours left! Last few cards of the day.

We have 8 hours to go for Pixel Lincoln on Kickstarter… it’s been a crazy 40 days. It’s been an especially crazy past 7 days, so none of our cards of the day made it out. A little fashionably late, but I hope you enjoy them!

Also, if you were considering backing the project, now is the time. We won’t be offering the custom cards when the game releases in December, so now is the last chance to get one. Also, any support helps us get closer to the big final stretch goals.

Onto the cards for the week!

Robooth is the big final boss, robot version of Booth.

And there they are! Back to work, thanks again for spreading the word!

If you like old-school video games, and you’re looking for an all new style of deckbuilding games, please support Pixel Lincoln on Kickstarter! We have some great stretch rewards and custom character cards for our backers. Thanks everyone! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/springboard/pixel-lincoln-the-deckbuilding-game-0

400% Funded. New Stretch Goals Announced!

Announcing more stretch goals!

Overnight, we hit our $20,000 goal on Kickstarter. Thanks everyone! Level boards for all of us!

It’s all very exciting, and very unexpected. I’m thrilled that the game has gone over as well as it has and can’t wait for everyone to play it.

Now we’re heading into our last week. The project ends Sunday night (July 15th) at midnight. If you are interested and haven’t pledged yet, now is the time! The more pledges we receive, and the earlier we get them, the better the final package will be for everyone. So if you are able to, please help spread the word in this final week. If you have a cousin at Kotaku, or an aunt at G4, let me know.  After this week, I’ll be quiet for a little while, I promise. (I’ll probably be knocked out for a few straight days)

Here’s the image of all of our new stretch goals. We would like to up the final game package to include a Level Editor, Player Tableaus, and Deck Boxes. And we’d also like to bump up the $10 bonuses pack to have a ton more bonuses. We want to include select celebrity cards (Tim Schafer, David Jaffe and Lorien Green are the first three that will definitely be included), and then add an actual Pixel Lincoln coin (awesome), cards that will use the coin in-game, and finally a travel box for storing your game in your bag, etc…

These are really big goals, so we can’t do it alone.

Thanks for all of the support!

Card of the Day: A Character, Secret Item and BANDATRON!

We’re going to be doing a daily calendar for the last 4 weeks of the Pixel Lincoln: The Deckbuilding Game Kickstarter campaign, showing off an Item every Monday, an Enemy every Tuesday, a Character every Wednesday, a secret every Thursday, and a Boss every Friday. We’ll give full details about the card and how it is used in the game. Make sure you come back each day!

The mid-week holiday and random craziness threw us all off, so we have three new cards today!

We’ll start off with the character, King Fhufu! He’s an angry mummy with issues.

And next is the secret item. The Big Coin! It has a value of 3, and it’s absolutely free. Snatch it up if you see it.

And finally our boss of the week. He’s the first of our higher powered bosses, and he’s a heavy metal robot. Not to be confused with Dee Snider… it’s Bandatron!

Next week, we’re back to normal. It’s our last week of the Kickstarter campaign, so we’ll make it a big one!
